GIFTS

Mo was loud and knowledgeable,                                                                                     she memorised all of Julius Ceasar                                                                                 and recited the lines daily on our one                                                                                  mile walk for classes.

Su, lively, friendly an extrovert gathered                                                                           us all together with her many stories that                                                                    took us to our house and back.

Ni gentle, had a fixed smile so was never                                                                 vexed. She was as sharp as a sword, not only                                       knowledgeable in literature but in math, science                                                                    and more.

Then I joined, with my quiet self, having an                                                       interesting combination of gathering friends                                                                                 and making sure everybody was counted.                                                                        A sharp speller, my pen was my other pal.

A mixed bowl, we enjoyed our boarding life                                                                 and made the most of it.
