I wish I had all the time in the world to read most of the amazing slices.
As I am in a different timezone, the slices keep popping up as soon as I get to work. There is a disadvantage with the time difference, because when I get to school there is no time to breathe!
I’m thinking of a plan to read and comment on more slices in April. There is so much wealth in reading others’ slices.
Every March, since I started slicing, I have kept a little journal to record the number of slices I comment on daily. I have a section in the notebook for new words I read and any ideas I can use in future.
This year, the words I have collected so far are: riffing, noggin, homogeneity, credence, apt, toodles, exuberence, flamboyance, futzed, keening, vista, vixen, nebulous, besotted, spontaneous, paranoia.
Some of these words are quite common, it is just that, I have never used them, so capturing them will help me remember their existence and sometimes remind me to find the meaning of the ones I don’t recall.
I have recorded a couple of books that have been shared. I have placed them in my Amazon cart, one of them is ‘The Power of a Few Kind Words: Create a More Meaningful Life, One Letter at a Time’, shared on Leigh Anne’s blog. I will be buying them soon.
