Sometimes you just have to take the plunge. I’m so glad I joined my colleagues on a hike to the top. I’m normally an introvert or is that the right word for it? Scared could work here. I have been known to be scared of heights and never volunteer on any such expeditions. These days… Continue reading

  • A Helping Hand

I saw him walking towards me. A fixed smile was plastered on my face, as I was thinking at the same time about how thoughtful people are here. I even shook my head and rolled my eyes a little. I believe I’m the only one that saw that. He was crossing this busy road to… Continue reading

  • Whispering Cultures

  • One Thing I’m Grateful for

My monthly intention for July, now seems like a packed memoir. When I got to the sentence stem about one thing I’m grateful for, I was drawn to the school I worked at, for over sixteen years. I started to write about the experiences I enjoyed there, which is taking me days to complete. I… Continue reading

My count down to move from Africa to Asia has began. I seem to be noticing, appreciating and if affordable purchasing some pieces to take with me. About Me

I am an Elementary school teacher , I taught at an International IB School in Accra, Ghana. I am now teaching in Hanoi. Writing is my passion and I try to write daily, at least in my sentence a day journal, to capture all the blessings around me. I write with groups of writers, such as Teach Write and sometimes Ethical ELA. I also encourage my friends to write , so I created a platform to make that possible -Writing Run.
