Ticking Clock

9.30 – 10.00am, slice of my day.

Today is a six word memoir day. This title just came to me as I feel the free slots for teachers are so full. Oozing actually, as all the ‘to-dos’ do not fit into that slot. There’s never a dull moment as we all know, so I gathered a few lines for my six word memoir.

What time is it? Meeting time?

What is on the meeting agenda?

Discussions, communication, decisions or a catch up!

  1. I love how focusing on time (or lack of it) led you to quick 6-word memoirs and your 5 capture universal thoughts of teachers! Nicely done!

  2. As a specialist who is constantly working against the clock to get kids back to homeroom on time, I absolutely relate. A 30 minute slice of the day reveals a lot about how closely we are tied to the clock.

I think many of us feel this. I’m hoping to slow down soon with spring break.

  4. I like the choice of the six word memoir. There really are too many things to fit into the day of a teacher. I was at school on my day off yesterday and I will be doing some work here at home today because it just doesn’t all fit in the time we have. Oof.

  5. You manage to bring the busy feeling so well in your 6 word slices. You really capture that rush experience.

  6. I love 6 word memoirs! You’ve inspired me and I’ve added it to my SOL list in my notebook for a future slice. You’ve definitely captured that feeling we all know…planning time is precious.
