Appreciated Acts

Here’s a Nonet, I was supposed to post on Open Write led by Leilya on the title “Small Acts” yesterday, but I did not quite finish it. I wrote it to show my appreciation to my colleagues who shared their work selflessly during my first year of teaching third grade.

Trails delivered to screens constantly,

Often acknowledged, before use,

They appeared in dribs and drabs,,

delivered just in time.

To complete cycles.

Reminded me

to give back

sometimes

too!

  1. What a wonderful poem of gratitude. I am so happy you enjoyed you first year. I remember seeing you on Zoom; you looked so happy.

About Me

I am an Elementary school teacher , I taught at an International IB School in Accra, Ghana. I am now teaching in Hanoi. Writing is my passion and I try to write daily, at least in my sentence a day journal, to capture all the blessings around me. I write with groups of writers, such as Teach Write and sometimes Ethical ELA. I also encourage my friends to write , so I created a platform to make that possible -Writing Run.
