Green Splashes

As I look out of the window…

Sun splashes on the greens
Free light
for vegetation
sending smiles and
squints for clarity

Intruding
plastic bottle vase
spews out sprigs
hanging quietly
for its beauty
signage hides
behind the pole

Stepping stones
like a stream
through the tuffet
thick afro green
waiting for a cut
spot an arm hitting hard
knock, knock against
the wooden path

The path...
zigzaging
like a puzzle
stone paves
direct you to
God knows where!

  3. What a vivid picture your words paint. “Squints for clarity”. Perfect description for those sunny days when the sun shines in your eyes.
