Words are Gifts

Never Ending

This role
That role
The role
Announcing

What I do
What we do
Wrapped around
Deep within

Constant, ready
Willing, willingly
Give and take
This and that

Pouring
Receiving
Never ending
Flow of love

Yes, everlasting
Drawing deep
From the well
Of love

Almighty Love
Unexplainable
Freely giving
Catch it if you can

Mothering
A lifestyle
A gift
An anchor!

This poem came to me after a chat with my twenty-something year old son. He shared, I listened and replied. I thought about the anchor and safety that parents are to our children, regardless of their age.

They come to us sometimes for cradle, I hope we have that to give at those times.

About Me

I am an Elementary school teacher , I taught at an International IB School in Accra, Ghana. I am now teaching in Hanoi. Writing is my passion and I try to write daily, at least in my sentence a day journal, to capture all the blessings around me. I write with groups of writers, such as Teach Write and sometimes Ethical ELA. I also encourage my friends to write , so I created a platform to make that possible -Writing Run.
