My Blue T-Shirt
My slice today is a reply to Comfy Clothing. The slice reminded me of my ‘faithful’ blue T-shirt. My blue T-shirt started it’s life at a factory somewhere in Asia, a well finished, good quality cotton T-shirt found it’s way to A’s mini-factory. Where they (all sizes) were personalized for our dear friend N’s party… Continue reading

I was intrigued, by… Continue reading

A Piece of Good Fortune
Sharing details of a lesson, by phone, with a student from my Reading group, led me to the help I was seeking for my next steps. My student had missed the lesson and I called to offer a session on what had ensued. At the end of our discussion, his mother (whom I had never… Continue reading

A Bonfire Night
On our drive through the serene, leafy campus on our first ever visit of the school year. I noticed a ten foot high (it looked that high) planks of used wood piled up into a tidy cone-like shape. Interesting! It’s a shame I missed my photo opportunity. “A bonfire?” I asked surprised. “Yes, I hear… Continue reading
About Me
I am an Elementary school teacher , I taught at an International IB School in Accra, Ghana. I am now teaching in Hanoi. Writing is my passion and I try to write daily, at least in my sentence a day journal, to capture all the blessings around me. I write with groups of writers, such as Teach Write and sometimes Ethical ELA. I also encourage my friends to write , so I created a platform to make that possible -Writing Run.
