There she was
Laid solemnly in white
Adorned Like a queen
Surrounded by
Sweet smelling flowers
Her tiara glittered
So regal her ambiance
That symbolised
The life she lived
A blessing
A jewel
A mother to all
A true gift
‘Gone but will never be forgotten’
Rest well my friend!

I’m so sorry for your loss. I hope you find comfort in the blessing of having shared time with the one you loved and the memories of that time. I, too, wrote about a beautiful soul laid to rest.

Pain and beauty is mixed in this commemorative piece. The weight of loss is evident and yet the poem and the memory will live. I’m sorry for your loss.
